In her memory
Norma
Norma
Norma was a woman unlike any other. Born in Brazil, she travelled the world before planting her roots in Montréal — a strong, independent immigrant who built her life entirely on her own terms. She raised a restaurant empire in this city, four locations in Montréal and one in Mexico, and when economic hardship forced her to close them, she simply started over — this time with a bakery. She never complained. She never stopped.
When she finally retired, she poured all that love into her cats. Bully and Negrito were her companions for over a decade. She also quietly fed and cared for every stray in the neighbourhood — no cat went unseen by Norma. Her love for the feline was boundless. Pure, unconditional, and without limits.
Norma passed away on July 24, 2024. At her bedside, we promised her we would get a cat in her honour and care for it the way she cared for hers. We asked her what she would name a white Ragdoll. Without hesitation, she said — Snowy.
On the day she left us, Snowy was born. We searched specifically for a kitten born on July 24th — because if reincarnation exists, we wanted a chance to have her back. Snowy is a TICA certified Ragdoll from the Sherbrooke area. Shortly after, we found Winter, another Ragdoll also born on July 24, 2024, from rural Ontario. Then came Frost — a TICA certified male from the Ottawa region — to complete the family. Frost is the king, and Winter and Snowy are his queens.
Norma's Cattery is not a business. It is a promise kept. Every kitten we place carries a piece of her spirit — her warmth, her resilience, and her endless love for cats. We care for them as family, because that is exactly what she taught us.

Every kitten is raised with love, in Norma's memory
Our two beautiful girls, the heart of our home — raised with endless love and the gentlest of natures.
A blue bicolour Ragdoll from rural Ontario, born the very same day Norma left us. Winter carries her gentle spirit in every soft glance.
A seal bicolour Ragdoll and TICA certified, from the Sherbrooke area. Born the very day Norma passed — and named by Norma herself. She is the gentle soul we promised to bring home.
Every queen needs her king — the regal heart of our little family.
A TICA certified seal bicolour Ragdoll from the Ottawa region. Frost completes our family — calm, affectionate, and every bit the gentle king.
A glimpse into everyday life with our Ragdolls — raised in our living room, surrounded by love, just as Norma would have wanted.
Ragdolls are known for their docile, gentle nature and their tendency to go limp like a ragdoll when picked up — hence the name! They are one of the most affectionate and people-oriented cat breeds in the world.
Classic and striking, the Bicolour is one of the most popular Ragdoll patterns, featuring a white inverted V on the face and white legs — like Winter.

Norma was so wonderful to work with. Our little Luna came home perfectly socialized — she was purring in our arms within the first hour. We couldn't be happier!
The care and love Norma puts into her kittens is evident the moment you walk through her door. Our Ragdoll is everything she promised — gentle, calm, and absolutely beautiful.
We drove 2 hours to get our kitten from Norma and it was worth every minute. She answered every question we had and still checks in on us months later. Truly exceptional!
